Sorry I've been neglecting the old blog. I've been somewhat involved (sort of) with the EA (Electronic Arts) forums, at least the Need For Speed Most Wanted. The good news ia that I actually beat it, twice. The first time I did it didn't auto-save. so I had too do it again.
In other news there's...nothing. I don't really have anything too say, but I need too say something...so here goes...blah. Job done. Anyway, I'm posting from the town library...and I'll have too go very, very soon. Like now if not sooner. More sometime in the not too far off future.

Well I'm back from being sick and a few things have happened. Number one, I passed the 200 hit mark, or so says my counter. I have made progress in Need For Speed Most Wanted, I was stuck at one point for a long time but have since overcome that obstical...thatnks people who gave me tips at EA.com.

This morning I was awaken with a rather loud "clank". I went too the livingroom too find one of my cats standing in the ribble of a potted plant crime scene, complete with at weapon...the clock. I've got the pics above

It's about time!!! Yes we, the Americans, have finally built a good, no, awsome car!! The standard Ford GT is a pretty good car, but now there's a convertible version, called the GTX1. It's kind of like the Lamborghini Murcielago. The standard version is very good, but when a convertible got brought out it just blows your mind away (mine anyway). It just looks, better and it's more interesting. Sure performance is comprimised a bit but who cares?? You can't really maximise your 200+ mph drop-top supercar anywhere, can you? Anyway, I don't have many details about the car, but I do have pictures, and I want it. Unfortunatly there's only one, that makes it even harder too get, also rare. That's good for coolness. It's got the same 5.7 liter V8 pumping out 550 bhp. The sticker price here is $149, 000 (about £84,600) The intereior's a bit odd, but people'll be looking at hte outside anyway so it doesn't matter. There's a company that's going too start selling conversions so your GT can become a convertible. They aren't cheap though. I should point out that Foed is currently in survival mode (they lost something like $3 billion last year in porfits) and the GT is being dropped in September. Right, bed with stig.

Finally got my hands on The Sims 2 Nightlife. Best chunk of change I've spent in ohh about two weeks since I got my MP3 player. Surprised I didn't post about that....anyway It's really cool. Finallly cars, no more taxis, many more cool features, like downtown with reastraunts, bowling alleys, nightclubs, all kinds of cool stuff. I haven't had it for long but if I have another dry streak in the posting world, it might be helpful.
In other news, I got an MP3 player!! I don't care if I already said that. It's a 20 GB DELL, exactly what I wanted, and I love it!! Went snowmobiling Sunday, 92 miles, twas quite good once you got out of town and into the middle of nowhere. Even got a pic of me.
I know I've mentioned that I had too write a book for school, well I finally finished that. Well I'm out of things too say now...back in another week, hopefully sooner.

Acabion GTBO 70:
Buagatti Veyron, bah, McLaren F1, not even trying, if you want to blow the doors off anything else on the road you want the Acabion GTBO 70. Details on the one are few and I don't know if I belive the ones that there are. Anyhoo, the German company is claiming a top speed of 375 mph for the most powerful model. 0-280 is gone in 19 seconds. How did they produce that kind of speed, it's got a 1.3 liter motocycly/motorbike engine tuned to a monsterous 690 bhp. Before you get carried away with that though, you need too know that the car might as well be a motorcycle. At anything above walking pace two of the wheels fold away, creating a more aerodynamic figure. It also helps that the thing weighs 791 pounds, that's not much in car terms, the average sedan weighs about 3000 or so. Amazingly it's not hopelessly impractical, it's got a 150 liter trunk/boot, and with an electric motor for low speed driving does 70.5 mpg. Want one, not me. Look at the thing, it's not so much a car as a 375 mph funeral on wheels. I don't know about pricing but they're taking customer orders.
On an update, It's not road legal. Not Here anyway, there aren't outside mirrors and I don't see any lights, and somehow I doubt the crash-testing went well for it.

I'm very annoyed right now. SAAB (my favorite sensible car maker) made a really cool prototype car. It's called the Aero X, it does 0-62 in 4.9 seconds, pushed and oulled there by all wheel drive and a 400bhp twin-turbo V6. It has no door or windshield pillars to give the driver 180 degree vision. Instead of regular doors most of the car opens up to let you in.
So why am I annoyed then> Sounds like a great car and a great way to get rid of the rather boring image that SAAB has. Why am I annoyed....it'll never be built. COME ON!!!

As far as other stuff that's happened in the past few days, one of my dogs ate (yes ate) my USB flash drive. For those who don't know it's an external hard drive that you plug in to your USB port and store many things on. Mine had music, videos, pictures, and a ten page book that I had to write for school (it's also on both mine and my parent's computers). I was playing with Moose (dog) and it fell out of my pocket. Moose'll eat absolutley anything he can get in his mouth, that has so far included such things as rocks, wood, feathers, the cats litter-box contents, and many many other random things. Anyway it fell out of my pocket and he ate it. I was sitting inside when I realised I didn't have it. I went to his pen and found two pieces of black plastic. That's it. All the metal stuff is gone. Hopefully he'll have 128mb more memory so he might just do something I tell him too. I doubt it though.

At my own school today we had quite the conversation. One of my friends (I will from this point onward refer to him as Senator) was asking everybody whether the Girls Gone Wild movies blurred everything out like they do in the preview. (for the record I am not a porn obbsessed phycopath) It was funnier when it happeded than it is as I'm writing it I'm sure but there wasn't a person that he didn't ask as he called it a "life question". He finally got an answer and went to complaining about how Tipper (3rd or 4th person asked) didn't just tell him that it isn't censored. He didn't shut up until another person hit a ruler hanging off the egde of a table and it flew accross the room, hitting one person in the head and generally scaring the crap out of everybody. I walked right into the path of the second attacking ruler. That was really funny then, if you can't laugh at yourself who can you laugh at?

Car Stuff: Aston Martin V8 Vantage;
Yup, the cheapest of the Aston lineup. Too Bad it's not actually cheap...starting at $140,000. Styled like all modern Astons, beautfully. Performing like all modern Astons, like we can only dream about. Handbuilt. Glorious sounding 340 bhp V8. 186 mph top speed with 5.1 seconds to 60. What more could you ask for in a car?
This is supposed to be the smaller, tighter more focused of the Astons. As such it was tuned at the Nurburgring (a 13 mile 147 corner widowmaker of a track in Germany). As well as the rest of the Astons it's quite possibly the best looking car of all time. It's only got two seats but that doesn't stop it from being somewhat practical, it's got a hatchback. Yeah, I want one.

I think the time is right for something that you won't see very often on this blog...news. It usually bores me but, if it's big, I'll sometimes put it on here. The big news tonight it that Richard (Dick) Cheney aka the Vice President of the United States of America, has shot another person. It was an accidental thing that happened on a hunting trip in Texas today. The victim is ok as far as I know (details are unclear) due to Cheney traveling with and ambulence at all times. I'll keep you posted as this progresses.

Yeah, here we go again, more quality entertainment. Another web series, called Red vs. Blue, produced by Rooster Teeth Productions, it's based on the popular video game Halo. For those know about the game Master Chief got rid of the Covodent Armada and the other forces were involved in civil wars. I won't give anything away but it's extremely funny. Not for the little ones though, plenty of language. A link shall be found on your right.

This evening I had some problems with my Yahoo! account. I would type in my ID and password (which I knew were correct) and it said that they were invalid. I thought maybe it was a server or network error so I called a friend to ask if he could get in to his. He explained
"Yeah we messed around with that, I tried to get into your E-mail and gave you a new password. You'll just have to change it.
This brought me on to something. Just how secure is my E-mail account? If he could just put in my Birthday, zip code, country, and pets name then give me a new password...anybody who knew me could have control of my E-mail. That would be bad.
P.S, you know who you are, if you try to hack my e-mail again I'm gonna beat you to death with your own skull.

I've been shopping for an MP3 player recently. Now I know what they mean by complicated market. Here are my problems at the moment:1) ipods are way too expensive. 2) I don't trust used electronics from people that I don't know. I had narrowed it down to to 2 choices, then I started reading reviews. Option number one: inoi 20 gb thing ($159). 5 star average review, but playlists are limited to 100 songs each (nowhere near enough) and you can't search through music via artist, genre, title ect. Option number 2, Creative Labs 20 gb thing ($209). People say that buttons screw up a few months after purchase, the headphones are trash, the software is useless, it has unlabeled buttons. I know exactly which one I want, but they don't make it anymore. I want a 20 gb Dell. I know from experience that it's easy to use. Playlists = whatever you want it to be, all kinds of good stuff. Except to get one I have to go used...typical.

Bently's lineup (from left Continental GT, Flying Spur, Flying Spur.)
Ford unveiled the new Shelby Cobra concept.
Also in the Ford booth there was the GT or GT40, hower you want to say it.
The Lamborghini Mercieolago Roadster, big crowd around it.
The Mercedes-McLaren SLR.
And, my two favorites...
...the Aston Martin V12 Vanquish and...
...the Aston Martin DB9.
Saturday, January 28, 2006
Once inside saw lots of interesting cars, namely my absolute favorite Aston Martin DB9, there were some Bentley's, a bunch of BMW and Benz. Upstairs there were booths for Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, and Porsche. There were also all kinds of normal variaties. Will post pictures soon, probably tommorow night.
Anyway, about half of the cars there were avalible to sit in I, of course, took advantage of this. There was a nice S-Class Mercedes there that I took the liberty of getting in to, loved it. Very comfortable and, with the door closed, quiet. Also a Jag X-Type, very nice. Land Rover Discovery's seats were a bit too hard for my likeing. Some very exiteing cars there, obviously. Things like the Mercedes-Meclaren SLR, Porsche Carrera GT, Ford GT (40), Lamborghini Merielago Roadster, Aston Martin DB9 and V12 Vanquish. Couldn't get anywhere near any of those ones though : (. As I said, pictures soon.
