REVIEW #1;Forza Motorsport:
For those of you that like the Gran Touismo games, and those who don't, we now have Forza. It is set up very much like GT, it has different race category's that different cars can compete in (ie:front-engine front-wheel drive.) Yet I think its better, because you can change the way the car looks as well as performs. With appearance you can put body kits on the car, which also help the aerodynamics, you can put after-market rims, window tint, vinels, decals and some other stuff on your car.
In the performance section you can put all of the normal upgrades on (ie:forced induction, exhaust, port and polish, all of that sort of thing) but there is an upgrade that I haven't seen in any other game but I absolutely love, you can install the engine out of another car made by the same manufacture into your car.
As far as graphics go, it is only rivaled by Gran Tourismo. The cars look real, as do the trees and the road and I could go on. There is also damage in the game that looks real. Now don't get scared, in the beginning of the game the only damage is cosmetic, so you can learn how too drive before the car can be broken mechanically. Also the damage that you do cause is relatively cheap too fix.
The list of cars you can buy in Forza is truly massive. I think there is something like two or three hundred cars from all over the world too choose from. The way you get them is in the beginning you choose a home region (Asia, Europe, or America.) So lets say you choose Asia, cars from the other two places will be more expensive and rare (you get a rarity bonus when winning races, the more rare the car is...The bigger the bonus is.) The cars range from one to ten stars of rarity and the more mods you put on it the more rare it gets. When buying cars they are set up in five classes,D through A, and R, with D at the slowest with things like a Honda Civic, and A at the fastest road legal class with things like the Ferrari Enzo and such. In the R class you have you purpose built stuff. These are cars that you see when you watch a race on TV. The more performance mods you put on the car, the higher class it reaches, so if its full of mods it might reach A, so you'll be racing against cars from the A group. But cars cannot move in or out of the R class.
There are also many real tracks too race on as well as some that the designers made up.
The only problem I can find is that the game only comes for XBOX...but still five stars.
Fisrt I would like too welcome you too my blog, so thank you for coming! Secondly, if you are a member of a police force, any street racing that I do is on my computer, because I am 13, don't have a car, and I live in a town of about 1500 people in Northern Vermont, so there is nobody too race. I know somebody will be wondering what the 'AMG' in amgracer means. AMG is basicly an in-house tuning company for Mercedes. Essentially AMG takes a car that Mercedes has built and makes it faster and handle better. Most of the stuff you will see on my blog is my own reviews for various vidio games, please comment but only refer too me as AR or Racer or something just not my real name. Thanks once again for coming too my blog.
